Care for your precious cats
Singapore
About Bart
My wife and I adopted Sophie (Boy) 13 years ago, when he was just a tiny, four-week-old kitten. He quickly became an important part of our family. So my main experience in caring for a cat is in being our cat's minion.
Sophie is precious and we find it hard not to worry about him when we travel, even with a good cat sitter taking care of him. It helps to have someone who can connect with Sophie and sends us daily updates with images and short video clips.
That's why I cat sit for others — to help assure them that their precious loved one is well cared for and safe while they're away.
From 2009-2012, I also helped take care of the two cats of a couple of friends who lived near us each time they travelled. And in 2012, we took care of a cat whose family was back in Germany for two months. Most recently, I cat sat Ginger while his mama was away for short trip last month.
Ideally, I'd like to focus on cats in the central and south of Singapore, a relatively short drive from where I live. My work is flexible, so I am available to take on cat-sitting assignments in the morning or afternoon.
Each visit can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, during which I'll talk to your cat(s), pet or cuddle them if that's what they would like, take care of the litter, feed them (wet or dry food, and treats, depending on what you'd like me to do), refresh drinking water, and play with them (again, depending on what you and your cat(s) would prefer). I'll send you daily updates about your cat(s), including at least a few images and/or video clips, so you can see for yourself how your cat(s) is/are while you're away.
Contact me if you'd like to explore the possibility of having me care for your cat(s), and we can arrange to meet in person (with your cat(s) too, of course). It would give your cat(s) the opportunity decide if they would be comfortable with me caring for them.
