Hi I'm Rachel!

I have a deep love for dogs, which started with my own poodle, Crystal (nicknamed Bala - I know, it makes zero sense), who was my beloved companion for 15 years until she passed away two years ago. Now, I find joy in spending time with Milo, my upstairs neighbor's dog and Crystal’s old friend. As Milo’s self-proclaimed godmother, I shower him with treats, kisses, and affection whenever he visits. He has become the highlight of my day, bringing back fond memories of my time with Crystal.

Becoming a pet sitter feels like a natural extension of the love I’ve always had for dogs. I’m excited at the prospect of offering the same care, warmth, and affection to other dogs. My goal is to ensure that every dog I care for feels as loved and cherished as Crystal and Milo. 

While I don't have formal experience, my years with Crystal and time with Milo have prepared me to provide your pet with a safe, loving environment. I've cat sat for a friend on several occasions. Rest assured, I only welcome vaccinated pets into my home to ensure everyone's safety. 

I mostly work remote (except on Thursdays) and thus my schedule is flexible. I'm available most afternoons and evenings for walks and virtually anytime for home visits if I can have the wifi password :) 

For walks, I'm open to taking them to any nearby outdoor areas or just walks around the buildings (up to preference of the owners) and of course I will be on pooper scooper patrol and ready with a water bottle for mid walk hydrations. Walk durations are flexible between 30 - 60min.

For home visits, I'll do the full works - cleaning up, feeding, treats, enrichment, play, walkies, etc. Happy to help with home chores like plant watering, mail, trash, etc at the request of the owners. I used to give medicine to my dog so I have some experience with administration. And I'm happy to help train your pet some tricks! If I am given wifi, I can stay for as many hours as needed.

Rest assured as a former pet owner, I know how hard it can be to be apart from your pets so I'm happy to send photos, videos, video chat as often as you wish. Trust me, I'll probably be taking photos and videos myself because my camera roll is just filled with Crystal and Milo.
