• ABOUT ME:

I am a neuroscientist and study human brain and mental health (32 years old, female, she/her). I live in Queenstown and it's quite pet-friendly. Fun fact: almost all my colleagues are cat owners. There is no doubt that these little amazing creatures have changed our lives dramatically. 

I have two cats and they are both female. My first cat (ragdoll. I got her from playground ragdoll) has been with me for more than 5 years. Around 2 years ago I adopted my second cat (Siamese?) from Mrs Wong's shelter. These two ladies have brought me so much joy and fun. I also had a dog before until I broke up and my ex took the dog. 

Why pet sitter? It's hard to find a pet sitter to take care of my own cats when l have to leave SG for business trips. My friend recommended me this platform and I am thinking of being a cat sitter myself so that I can probably also help other owners while finding myself a cat sitter. In the meantime maybe can also get some "treat money" for my cats lol. It's also heartbreaking when I lost the dog I have loved so much and I think being a pet sitter can be a mental therapy journey.

• ABOUT MY SERVICES:

1. I am usually available at 8am-9am and evening after 6:00pm in weekdays. I am quite flexible during weekends. 

2. I can only offer normal dog walking and cat feeding/litter cleaning. 

3. Home visits: I will stay with pets for 20min. The owner can request longer if needed but no more than 40min. I can water plants and bring in mail. I will send videos and photos at each visit. Video chat is possible if it's needed.

4. Dog walking: I walk dog usually for 30 min in the morning. For an evening walk it can be 45min. Usually, I walk the dog around the landed house area in queenstown. It's quiet and private. There is a non-official dog park next to Queen's Peak condo, however, the dogs play quite rough there. So it depends on the owners' request if they would want to do a dog walk in the dog park. It would be best if owners can show me detailed instructions for the walking routine.

5. I do not offer house sitting.

6. For cat feeding. My first cat eats raw food but my second cat doesn't know how to chew raw meat. So I feed both raw and dry food. I also feed them freeze-dried food (Primal/SC etc). 

7. I would prefer the owner to leave detailed instructions.

8. I will come and collect the keys before the first day. I will walk through the instructions with the owners beforehand. If it's not possible a video chat would also work. The owners can decide if they prefer me to leave the keys at home on the last day or drop them in the mailbox.
