Hi there! I'm Sheryl, a cat lover with a lifelong connection to felines. I’m a fur parent to Lyra, a chatty Siamese mix adopted in 2016, and Coco, a calico rescued from the streets in 2017.
Since rescuing my first stray kitten in 1999 (Meow Meow, RIP), I’ve cared for, helped out, pet sat, and taken in many cats over the years. Each rescue has deepened my appreciation for their unique personalities, playful quirks, and lovable antics. It's also taught me a lot about cat care. I’ve learnt how to litter box train cats, clip their nails, administer medication, cook special meals when they have loose stool, and shower and groom them. Most importantly, I've learned to communicate with them and understand the meaning behind every meow and tail flick.
With a deep fondness for cats and with more than 20 years interacting with them, pet sitting is a natural fit as a side hustle. Formerly from the creative and media industry, I’m transitioning to a healthcare role, giving me wide pockets of free time to take on pet sitting jobs.
