I have a reactive SS myself that I'm living with happily for 5 years now. I've worked with several trainers during this time, and have gained a lot of experience with dog walking, as I personally bring my dog down for 3 walks a day. Besides my own dog, I also have experience in helping walk my friend's dog who is an active Beaglier.
Generally speaking, dogs do warm up to me pretty quickly and it's always great to see another handsome or pretty doggo smile :) I can offer dog walking and home visit services.
For dog walks, this can be from 15 mins to 45 mins, depending on the dog's energy level, and it would usually be around your neighbourhood. While it's important for our dogs to enjoy their walks, explore and also take their toilet breaks, as a dog walker, I find it crucial to assess situations on the ground to understand if our furkids would be comfortable, or it would just be stressful for them. After all, a tail wag does not necessarily mean a happy signal. Please do let me know if your doggo might be sensitive to any types of situtation (other dogs, ladders, construction workers etc..) and I'll be sure to keep a lookout.
For home visits, I can provide 30 to 60min visits and during which I can also administer eye medication for dogs, feeding, playing and also basic command training such as sit, stay and paw. I can also offer services such as watering your plants and bringing in mails or parcel. If there might be other tasks, do let me know and we can further discuss them.
My motivation is to meet more dogs and their owners, and provide quality walks and time for your beloved furkids to ensure that their mental and physical daily needs are met.
